You could say "bundled" is about right...haha...nice pics, doesn't look like you had much company out there. That view and the one from Pioneer Mail are always awesome and the snow/desert contrast is great.

Love that view from high atop Mount Laguna down into the desert

I would have guessed it would have been crowded up there with all the snow.
What's the story on that?
I like that hike off the campground.

We were up there about 3 weeks ago and there was some snow then but nothing like your photos. I do a star party for my school at that campground every May/June, in the meadow by site 17. Who cleaned off the tops of the picnic tables? Beautiful pic looking down into the desert.

Sunrise hwy was closed from laguna to julian, and chains were required, so it kept the crowds down. Most people don't want to pay to enter the campground so you always have the place to yourself.

It was reaally windy in the meadow which blew all the snow off the tables (thats why brett was so bundled).

Beautiful and so serene. What a cute little bundled child, too! It is good that there are still some snowy mountain areas in So. Cal that are so empty on the weekends.
