I like the solar setup also. Great if you want to boon-dock without any hookups and sit in one spot.

I second what Daren said, your setup is nicer than my house

Thanks, The LED lights are http://www.nextwaveled.com/rvlighting.html I went with the warm light inside and the bright light for the outside light. Here is a blog on an installationof LED's http://mellomikeswolfcreekcamper.blogspot.com/2011/10/led-retrofit-and-12v-outlet.html he has some other cool modifications as well

And the LED light are the same color as regular bulbs, make sure you get the warm light ones.

I enjoyed the tour very much. I like your solar set up. Next to my Sun-lite pop up your camper looks like a class A. I have been thinking about switching my interior lights to LED. What kind did you go with? Are you happy with the color? I love showing off my camper. Whenever anyone comes into camp and shows the least bit of interest I offer them the full tour.

Wanted to post my rig and set up for anyone looking into getting a truck camper. It is the perfect "in between" a pop top and a large hard side camper. It is fully welded aluminum framed as opposed to wood framed camper. It has 30 gallons of fresh water and 6 gallons for the water heater. The bathroom is a one piece molded fiberglass, with a shower. It weighs about 2000 lbs fully loaded with water. I have it on an F350 long bed crew cab 4x4 diesel.

It has an outside shower, one 5 gallon propane tank (that is a drawback); it would be nice to have 2, dual 12 volt batteries, and a roof rack and ladder. ELECTRIC JACKS are key!

It has a full queen size bed and had a custom mattress made which is very comfortable; above is a fantastic roof fan which can suck air in or send it out.

I also have an LCD TV with built in DVD player for the kids, It is hooked up to a 300Watt Sure Sine quiet Inverter; the large view window is nice too

The Kitchen has a 3 burner stove w/ oven, above the kitchen there is tons of storage. The double sink is annoying because it limits counter space. My fruit ends up in the far one. I also have a water purifier which comes in handy.

Here is the furnace and the wave 3 catalytic heater. The furnace (on top) is loud and sucks the propane. It also uses considerable battery power when running the fan. The catalytic heater uses no battery power, and is way more efficient with propane. It emmits radiant heat, rather than heating the air, it heats up the surrounding things and they emmit heat (like the sun)

Here is the fridge and freezer combined. It is not a huge fridge, but does very well with about a weeks worth of food. Having a smaller fridge means lighter weight

The dinnette is nice, it folds into a bed and is pretty good size. I am 6'1" and can fully stretch out when sleeping down there, but it is not like sleeping up top in the queen bed. Above the dinnette is tons of storage, and it does not fold down into a bunk bed.

The bathroom is a one piece molded fiberglass so there are no seems anywhere. It is a wet bath and showers are a little tight but fine.

I upgraded all the ligths to LED lighting. It is uses way less battery power

I have a colman mach ac unit which is only 9k BTU's and can run easily off my honda eu2000 generator, (though I rarely ever use it)...I also have installed 2 huge solar panels which are about 300 watts

Here is my solar charge controller. I have it connected on two 12 volt deep cycle batteries. It keeps them charged and running. I spent 1 week in death valley and the batteries stayed at 90% the whole time

I also put a way better and more accurate battery monitor so you know exactly how many amps you are using and how much you have left

Here is my 300 watt inverter, the inverter takes 12v battery power and turns in into regular 110 outlet power. I have one outlet where the tv is and one outlet in the dinnette

My eagle camp is not a basement model, which means the water tank and holding tanks are not under the floor. This has it drawbacks w/ smaller capacity, but it keeps the camper not as high so I don't sway as much and can handle some roughter terrain.
