Tusil Fire in Boulevard. 8 Freeway closed

I heard there is a 500+ acre brush fire out in the Boulevard/Campo area and they closed the 8 freeway in both directions.
Hope everyone is safe and that CalFire can get this under control quickly.

Yep. We have about a dozen fires burning in So Cal right now including the crazy one out on Santa Rosa island in the channel islands. Half of the island has burnt up! Early start to fire season. Yikes!

Went through 8 this morning. Mostly out. A few fire trucks on the west side.
