Looking For a Ride

I am looking to see if anyone would be willing to give me a ride from Butler/Rockhouse Cyn junction to the Villager/Rabbit trail head this Friday am as early as possible. You will probably need 4wd to get thru a deep sand section. I am trying to plan a semi loop from the S22 > Villager/Rabbit/Dawns and then over to RHC and down into the village ruins and then back to my truck at the junction area.

That is quite a trek. 11 miles to Rabbit then off trail to Dawns for probably less than 1 mile but it will likely seem like more, then that steep initial descent down from Dawns and then back to Rockhouse TH.
BTW without getting all the way to the end of the Rockhouse Canyon Road the hike to Dawns is 16 miles RT, maybe 14 miles RT from road end.
So you have 11 + 1 (off trail) + 7 = ~19 miles with quite a bit of gain.

I "think", repeat I think you might find snow in nooks and crannies above 5000-6000ft. I found a few water caches
along a portion of your route last year, BUT they are for other climbers. If I was desperate, I would leave an I.O.U. Looks like you may get some rain possibly this weekend. I did Villager ( day hike) and Rabbit from the east (day hike) both with carried water. Your route my friend with a 40# back pack is "bust ass" in my rating system, especially from Rabbit to Dawns peak and then downhill to rockhouse valley. I am sure it will be an epic adventure. I agreed to hike part of the way up to Villager tomorrow with Daren.
I have to be back in La Jolla by 5PM so I am not sure how far I will actually get before I turn around.
