On Saturday March 21st Imperial Valley Desert Museum is having Indigenous Cultures Day. The museum is in Ocotillo at: 11 Frontage Rd. Native artists from across the region will be there from Calif, Arizona and Mexico. Traditional games, crafts, food vendors, native American speakers and bird songs. Will they have the Childers artifacts on display? I saw on Cable channel they pulled out over a Hundred file boxes that had been in storage for 40 years of his life times work exploring the desert. Personal notes, diaries, maps and loads of information on the history of the Coachella valley. edited by rockhopper on 3/6/2020

Because of the Corona Virus the day has been moved to Saturday May 23rd. I would Check their website before going on May 23rd.

It is amazing !! The local native American artifacts are very impressive. I support them financially and was surprised to find they are open all year. They are a cool zone for local residents.
