Well, after scouting out Boulder Alley I decided I would wait and try to tackle it another time. Headed out to Oriflamme canyon to "Chill" try out our new hammock, and try for the 15 foot water fall schad talks about. This is the second time I have tried to get to the falls, and again failed to reach them. Just too much bushwacking. I did get a bit closer after following the old cow trail on the north bank and not trying to walk up the stream the enire way. Anyone been there? Any pics?
Road in you will need 4wd
morteros can be found around and pottery shards as well
when hiking up canyon stick the the northern bank, don't make the mistake I did by trying to bushwack up through the stream bed
Mostly overgrown cattle trail is difficult to navigate
Eventually you are forced into the canyon and have to bushwack pretty hard in some spots
decided to just head back and "chill out"
