Because of this forum,(thanks guys), I have always wanted to check out Little Blair Valley. I have camped in Blair Valley many times and it can get crowded, and never really gave little blair much thought. Boy Have I been missing out! This is not much of a trip report, but just a tribute to a very cool place!

Little Blair Valley

Just a short climb up and.....

Great views of Blair Valley

Nice Indian cave

cool curved piece of pottery

and these all over the place

2 thumbs up! Only issue is the bees are pretty aggressive for any kind of liquid.

Seems like the park closed of many of the spur rd spots to camp in Little Blair, not sure why. During the summer the bees are insane, one trip I had to retreat into my truck for the night and leave very early at sunrise because of them.

Blair Valley looks nice when there is not a lot of people. Every time I have driven by it looks packed.

With regards to the Park closing many of the camp sites, I feel this is a bit of an alarming trend. upset
Not sure where the decision is being made?
