Hey all -

My grandfather recently passed away and we were looking at some old slides of when they would camp out there in the 70s. I was wondering if any of you recognize these and could point out where it is. I think it looks like the Indian Gorge area but I've only been out there once on the north fork and I don't remember it well.

Sorry for the poor quality - I could go back with a DSLR and try to take better pics if needed.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Daniel

That was my thought as well - I think the Palm Bowl grove or Southwest grove looking at the satellite images on google maps and comparing to california trail map

Might have to go do some hiking.

Oh damn that looks just like it, thanks! Looks like if you go from Indian grove you gotta go over the hill, but coming from mountain springs camp is mostly flat along the wash?
