Anza Borrego

Anza Borrego

Welcome to our travel site for the Anza Borrego Desert.
The Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is California’s largest state park and covers over 600.000 acres. This vast wilderness spans three counties with 500 miles of jeep trails and miles and miles of hiking trails. The terrain varies from sandy washes to shrub covered chaparral to hidden palm groves, all surrounded by scenic mountains.

If you are new to Anza Borrego you may want to stop by the Anza Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center in Borrego Springs. There are some amazing exhibits and the staff are a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding desert.

If you are interested in getting some great travel tips before you head out, I suggest you head over to the Anza Borrego Forum which has a host of great information and some knowledgeable desert explorers

We recently migrated this site to a new platform so stay tuned for some updates regarding campgrounds, great hikes and wildflower updates. In the meantime feel free to read some of our past trip posts which may inspire your own desert adventures.
